September 2011
This meeting was dedicated to sharing our year 1 iZone initiatives. In attendance were Al, Chrystina, Ellen, Jeanne, Laura, Sonhando and Stacy. Here is a copy of the protocol that we used to share:
This meeting was dedicated a Consultancy protocol and to some resource allocation notes. Chrystina Russell presented at the Consultancy to get some help with her Challenged-Based Learning Units. Present were Laura, Chrystina, Al, and Ellen. Click here to listen to an audio recording of the meeting
November 2011
The main focus of this meeting was a tuning protocol. Sonhando Estwick tuned his plan for introducing academic coaching next year. In attendance were Stacy, Chrystina, Laura, Sonhando and Al.
The main focus of this meeting was Stacy Goldstein presenting at an adapted Consultancy protocol to get some help with implementing SoF's whole-school writing rubrics. In attendance were Stacy, Sonhando, Al, Jeanne, Ellen and Alicia (as a potential cohort 2 principal) and Mary Hauser (a TSMS teacher).
This meeting was dedicated to discussing and choosing a new Cohort 1 Design Partner. I didn't shoot any video. In attendance were Al, Chrystina, Ellen, Laura, Jeanne, Stacy and Sonhando. Ramon (from Cohort 2) joined us for a short while. Here is the agenda:
This meeting was dedicated to principals getting iZone information (specifically about Cohort 2), beginning planning for the March 10th retreat and a modified Consultancy. Ellen presented at a Consultancy to get some help trying to find a link to all of the initiatives (iZone and city-wide) that IS 289 undertook this year. In attendance were Al, Stacy, Alicia (from Cohort 2), Ellen and Sonhando. Laura was present for the first part of the retreat planning.
This meeting was dedicated to analyzing the success of one iZone initiative. Laura Mitchell of TYWLS presented at a Success Analysis Protocol to look closely at the flipped classroom and blended learning happening in 2 math teachers' classes. In attendance were Al, Jeanne, Laura, Sonhando, Ellen and Shawn. We were joined by Laura's intern, Kirsten Ward and WSC teacher Novella Bailey.
